This video, uploaded by Cosmopolitan.com, is a part of a series of six short films directed by the Israeli-American director, Sigal Avin. She realised that there was no visual content to show people what sexual harassment really meant and so she decided to work on this striking project.
David Schwimmer has produced these short films which are based on real life events. It is called #ThatsHarassment and Schwimmer says,
“THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF THIS IS TO ENCOURAGE PEOPLE AND TO GIVE THEM THE COURAGE TO SPEAK OUT IF THEY’RE A VICTIM THEMSELVES OF HARASSMENT, OR IF THEY WITNESS OR ARE AWARE OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT.”
I am sure that women all over the world will find solidarity through this project and understand that keeping quiet will never help!
