Rohit Shetty Talks About Positive & Negative Aspects Of Bollywood & We Can’t Agree More

Rohit Shetty, the Bollywood moviemaker, is currently busy promoting his latest release “Cirkus” which has hit the theatres today. The movie stars Ranveer Singh, Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma, Johnny Lever and others in important roles. Ranveer Singh and Varun Sharma are playing double roles in the flick as it is based on William Shakespeare’s play entitled The Comedy of Errors.

Recently during an interview, Rohit Shetty gave his opinion on many aspects of Bollywood and as per him, while there is a lot of innocence in the film industry, the biggest problem is that there is no unity here.

While speaking on a YouTube channel, Rohit Shetty said that in old times, there used to be many movies with 2 or 3 heroes but today you won’t see that because the managers of big stars make them insecure. He says that even big stars of the industry such as Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn are not exception to this.

According to him, Bollywood is a strong community but they don’t understand their power, they can do a lot but the issue is that they don’t unite. He further says that people love them and they can bring many changes in the society if they work like a syndicate but they are not thinking about anything whether it is about expanding theatre business or working in coordination with government and this is why they are not even able of reaching 10 crore people out of 150 crore.

Talking about his movies, Rohit Shetty says that he keeps those people close who praises the film but keeps away the person who praises him and says that he has done brilliantly. He adds that he is always open to valid criticism but he doesn’t prefer to listen to filmmakers because they have their own preferences, mindset and views; however, this is not with audiences and they are completely honest. He further says that the audiences have their taste and they will like good movies whether it is made by Rohit Shetty, Sanjay Leela Bhansali or Anurag Kashyap.
