Oscars 2023: ‘Naatu Naatu’ live performance receives standing ovation at the 95th Academy Awards; Watch

Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava created history by performing RRR’s hit song Naatu Naatu at the 95th Academy Awards. The hit Telugu song, which stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR, becomes the first Telugu song to be sung at the Oscars, and the energetic performance assured it would be a visual no one would forget for years!

Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava, who sang the original track for SS Rajamouli’s movie, made India proud by introducing the music of M. M. Keeravani to the global platform. Sipligunj and Bhairava put their best foot forward, making the crowd at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, dance on their chairs. Lauren Gottlieb, an American actor-dancer, joined the duo on stage.

If that was not enough, Suriya and Deepika Padukone made India proud with their contributions at the Oscars this year. The Tamil actor was named as a member of the Oscar committee for the 95th Academy Awards, and the Soorarai Pottru star was also given the right to vote this year. Also, Deepika Padukone became an Oscar presenter, becoming the 3rd Indian after model Persis Khambatta, who played Lieutenant Ilia in Star Trek: The Motion Picture in 1980, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas in 2016.
