Fans Started Chanting ‘Sachin, Sachin’ As He Boarded The Flight, The Indian Legend Responded

Sachin Tendulkar is not just a name but an emotion that unites majority of Indians who are ardent cricket fans and it won’t be wrong to say that even after so many years of retirement from cricket, Sachin is still a part of lives of many Indians.

The former Indian cricketer is a living legend who debuted at international level in the year 1989 and represented the country for 24 years before taking retirement in 2013. There are numerous records registered in the name of Sachin Tendulkar including record of the highest number of international centuries (100). He has played 200 test matches, 463 ODIs and 1 T20I in which he has scored 15921 runs, 18426 runs and 10 runs, respectively.

Recently, a Twitter user posted a video clip which is going viral now for all the right reasons. The video is from a flight and all the passengers started chanting “Sachin, Sachin” after the legendary former cricketer boarded the flight.

The Twitter user captioned the tweet as, “This happened just now on my flight! Be it on or off the field, the chants of ‘Sachin, Sachin!’ continue to reverberate in our hearts always!”

Sachin Tendulkar also thanked his fans for their love as he took to Twitter and wrote, “Thank you to those on my flight who were chanting my name a little while ago, reminiscent of when I used to come out to bat. Unfortunately, the seatbelt sign was on so I could not stand up to greet you. So saying a big hello to all now”.
