Last year, when the company had introduced the entry-level Model 3, India was one of the countries where the car was to be launched.
Adding several more countries to Model 3 order page tonight. Check for details, but will include India, Brazil, SA, SK, NZ, Sing & Ireland.

While the Model 3 is the most affordable Tesla car, it will still cost about Rs 40 lakh when it lands on our shores. This is thanks mainly to the duty structure for imports that we have. The car has a claimed range of 400 km and can hit 96 km/h in under six seconds.
Our favourite car in the company portfolio, however, is the Model X. An SUV with trick gullwing doors that open upwards, it looks like a stunner.
