Ever experienced going to a hairdresser and just showing the hairstyle you want from a YouTube clip or a photo from social media? Some of us have done it – we’ve taken a screenshot of a celebrity or a model into the hairdressers in the hope that you’ll leave the building not only with a fresh new trim but also resembling your favorite in every way.
So when this man found a haircut that he liked, he showed the video to his barber. Unfortunately for him, his barber was a little bit too detail-oriented.
The client showed this paused video to the barber.
He probably thought the video would give his barber a clear idea of the style he wanted, but it caused some slight confusion instead. You see, instead of taking a screenshot of the video to show his barber, he paused the video which meant a “play” symbol was emblazoned across his screen.
To be fair with the barber, he did ask if the client wanted to keep the triangle. However, the man had no idea what that meant and probably thought that it was some kind of a barber term, he just said yes.
The barber’s attention to detail was incredible.
With that said, the customer was left with two massive bald triangular patches on his head after the diligent hairdresser shaved one triangle onto each side of his head to mimic the trendy hairstyle he thought his client had desired.
The incident was posted by an influential entertainment blogger, “Tian Xiu Bot,” on China’s Twitter-like platform Weibo. The uploader joked: “There are not so many rigorous hairdressers like this left.”
As expected, netizens were amused by the viral posts.
Some comments read:
“[The hairdresser] indeed copied the model’s hairstyle in the exact way.”
“This is a new trending haircut.”
“I watched (the video) three times before realizing that was a play button.”
